Connie Slatosch
Mortgage Broker Extraordinaire!

If Connie can't find you a great loan, no one can. She's a straight-shooter when it comes to promises, and you can rely on her tenacity to find the right loan for you. Hardworking, smart, and honest are words that best suit this energetic lady.

Three of our buyers, who used other brokers, found themselves without their promised loans the day their homes were supposed to close. Connie stepped in. Within less than one week, she had the loans closed with better terms than the original ones.

Doug Allen
Our Heating & Air Guy

We met Doug while remodeling our 6th home. He installed and serviced a new gas furnace for 7621 SE Lamphier, has followed us to all our homes since, and he did a huge job at our Fremont Court home. This included removing the old oil furnace and replacing it with a new high effeciency one, ducting all rooms in the basement and 2nd story for heat, installing a new central air conditioning unit, and preparing all three fireplaces to burn both gas and wood.

Doug is married, with adult children, who are undoubtedly blessed with a dad who loves garage sales as much as Berdell and I.

It's not unusual to be working along at one of our houses, only to see Doug's smiling face suddenly appear, just to say hi, or to find out what we're up to, or to work on something we've set him onto. This guy's smart as a whip, and been around the HVAC block enough to know what to do in any situation. He also brings us turtles and doughnut holes {{:-}

Keith Rost
Our Realtor

Keith Rost was our realtor at the beginning of this endeavor in 2002 through 2009. He is the owner of Barrington-Grey Realty, LLC, and was referred to us by an old high school buddy of mine, Susan Wilks, who is a realtor in the SW Portland area. From day one, he knew what we needed, and was diligent about finding and notifying us about available properties. When an offer is written up and accepted, Keith is profoundly on task, making sure we remember to schedule the inspector, and checking with the seller to make sure they are taking care of their "due diligence" with us. He maintains contact with the title company and knows even before we do when we are supposed to sign and close on a home. When we would sit down to sign the final papers to buy a home, Keith was there, always. When buying 11307 NE Fremont Ct., Keith said, "Wait a minute, have you checked with the water and sewer company to see if there are any unpaid bills with them?" He then called them up right there, and sure enough, he saved us $112 by catching it in the nick of time before I signed. We sell our homes by owner, and Keith has given us so many great ideas for making the homes look terrific when they show that our sales have been quick.
