Intelligence
Intelligence is the 4th Principle, the aspect of God that guides us. It works through our intuitive senses. God's Intelligence relies upon our integrity, so the first three Principles: Truth, Life and Love must be active for us to be successful in our use of this great gift.

If we attempt to be guided by our intuition while still intending forms of lies, greed and negativity, we naturally fall on our keesters in the process. Since Truth, Life and Love have the real power, it stands to reason that their opposites are infused with impotence. Therefore, expecting to use the tool of Intelligence and make successful decisions while founded in impotentiality, we fail consistently.

If, however, we are attempting to activate Truth, Life and Love (even if we are unintentionally missing the mark ), our integrity of heart will prevail, and our intuition will guide us successfully. We will soon discover any errors, and our sense of integrity will feed our Intelligence so that we can rectify those situations.

Fear versus Faith
God is all about faith, and to make decisions based upon a sense of fear cannot have power. As we practice being aware of the various intuitive sensations, we will find that they have very specific differences.

• This feels right
This is a sensation similar to what we feel when we are deciding whether to eat an apple or an orange. We're probably not afraid of either; it's just that one feels like the one to choose.

•This doesn't feel right
Same as above, except that one feels like the one not to choose.

•This scares the heck out of me!
Not a sense of guidance, but a sense of fear. If we can remove the fear, we will experience one of the first two above. Removing the fear doesn't necessarily mean choosing the path containing the fear. We may find that the path that feels right is the one without the fear. But not always. And, removing the fear does not always mean we don't still feel fear. It's just that we set the fear aside and ask ourselves what we would do if we had no fear.

As an example, think of a time you pursued something you felt very strongly was the right path, but it also included fear. You pursued it anyway, overcoming the fear. Perhaps it was asking someone out on a date, or performing on stage, or giving a speech, or going to the doctor, or dressing differently, or going on a job interview.

We overcome fear all the time to do what feels right. To use fear as an excuse to not do what you intuitively know is right is to refuse God's power of Intelligence. It's a faith issue. Fear is debilitating, and very often sends us down a powerless and ineffective path, or even no path at all (life paralysis).

Those of us who have become accustomed to knowing the difference between feelings of fear, and the feeling of something simply not being the right decision, can tell you from first hand experience: When we know in our hearts that something is the right thing to do, and we choose to do it even encompassed in fear, the power of God prevails, and the situation turns in our favor.

"Stand still and watch the glory of the Lord [the Law of Intelligence] on your behalf." 2 Chronicles 20:17
