Life

Life is the second of the Three Foundational Principles. The first is Truth, the third is Love. Life is about growth, movement, and circulation. God’s power of Life heals our fear of not having enough and our sense of being limited. We access this power through generosity (comes from the word generate—to create life).

Our bodies are great examples of this Principle: To get our hair to start growing faster, we cut some of it off. Our gardens offer another: We prune our trees and shrubs so they’ll have room to bear greater fruit. This Principle is a basic law of nature, and doesn’t end with the physical. The law also affects the mental: Teachers increase their own knowledge by teaching others. Giving love to a child or an animal increases the feeling of love we experience in our emotions. And there’s a wonderful saying that is absolutely true: If you want to get something done, ask a busy person. To increase the effectiveness of time you have each day, spend some of it serving others.

GIVE AWAY MONEY??? I CAN’T AFFORD IT!
Here’s the biggy. If you feel you don’t have enough money for yourself, give some away unconditionally everyday. Think this is all hogwash? Type the word “Tithing” into your browser and watch what comes up.

This Principle is activated when YOU activate Life outside yourself from within yourself by spreading consistent bits and pieces of all that you have into the Universe. Time, Talent, Treasure included. This process is called Circulation, or the Law of Return. As we sow, so we reap. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The Law of Return is very real. Check yourself out. Principle #1 is the key here. Truth. How do you feel when you give away your treasure without expectation of receiving anything in return? If you feel like you’re losing something most of the time, now is the time to break through this by committing to the Principle of Life in some way every day. Guaranteed, you will, in time, not only overcome that feeling of not having enough, you will find yourself prosperous in ways you could never imagine.
